O Comic Con, 7-9 July

Celebrate comics and pop culture at O Comic Con. The event runs Friday from noon-8 pm, Saturday from 9-8, and Sunday from 9-5. Tickets are $20-25 for the day, with a $40 pass for all three days. Parking is free, and children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult.

Omaha Event: Kid’s Funfare at Regency, 6 July

Bring your kids to this free Omaha event every Thursday from 10 – 11 am in June and July at Regency.

Activities provided by Fontenelle Forest’s Raptor Recovery, the Omaha Children’s Museum, Wildlife Encounters and performances by magician Jeff Quinn.

Omaha Event: Jazz on the Green, 6 July

This Omaha event, Jazz on the Green, is a free concert at Turner Park in Midtown Crossing featuring up-and-coming jazz artists.

You can set up your chair as early as 5 pm, with pre-show entertainment starting at 6:30, and the Omaha Jazz concert starts at 7:30.

Parking is available in garages at 33rd & Farnam, 33rd & Harney, and Mutual of Omaha after 5 pm.
