Omaha Fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday, January 14, 2017 3:22 PM, I received the below letter with the sad news of the fire at the Sons of Italy Hall.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Dear members and friends of Sons of Italy<\/p>\n<p>On Friday afternoon, the fire at the hall caused extensive damage to the interior (bar, kitchen, and storage room, as well<br \/>\nas smoke and water damage of the building.<\/p>\n<p>President Pruse has been notified and is in contact with the Organizations\u2019 officers.<\/p>\n<p>At this time, we do not know the cause of the fire.<\/p>\n<p>Our insurance company\/agent will work with the insurance adjuster to determine the plan of action.<\/p>\n<p>The building was secured Friday evening, as well as being winterized to prevent further damage.<\/p>\n<p>The State and Colombo Lodge will provide updates as they come available.<\/p>\n<p>George V. The hall had three dining rooms.  The main floor seated 236.
