No, but for college baseball fans, Charles Schwab Field Omaha is pretty close. In fact, beginning Thursday, June 16, you can consider the home of the 2022 NCAA Men&#8217;s College World Series as a little slice of heaven on earth.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the big question is: If you screen it, will they come? MCWS organizers are hoping that&#8217;s the case for the Opening Celebration Day, which will include a free screening of Field of Dreams on the giant video board in right field. The classic baseball film is just one of the many free activities planned for the MCWS kickoff. Here&#8217;s the starting lineup (all times CDT):<\/p>\n<p>9 a.m.\u20135 p.m. \u2013 Team practices<br \/>\n11 a.m.\u20137 p.m. \u2013 Fan Fest presented by Capital One, with family-friendly entertainment, including interactive games, photo opportunities, prizes and more<br \/>\n6:30 p.m. \u2013 Field of Dreams movie on right field video board<br \/>\n8:30 p.m. \u2013 Parade of the eight teams marching Olympic-style east from Creighton University&#8217;s Morrison Stadium to the stadium on Mike Fahey Street<br \/>\n9 p.m. Opening Ceremonies with team introductions<br \/>\n9:45 p.m. \u2013 Fireworks Finale<\/p>\n<p>Public parking is available for Opening Celebration Day at Charles Schwab Field Omaha\/CHI Health Center Omaha, Creighton University or city-owned lots in the downtown Omaha area.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 NCAA Men&#8217;s College World Series runs from Friday, June 17, through Sunday, June 26, or Monday, June 27.
