Omaha Event: Omaha Summer Arts Festival, 9-11 June

In its 49th year, this Omaha event is this weekend at Aksarben.

It runs:
Friday, June 9th: 11am-9pm
Saturday, June 10th: 10am-9pm
Sunday, June 11th: 10am-4pm

This is one of my favorite events.

Enjoy different types of art by artists across the country and try different foods from the food trucks and the Aksarben area eateries.

AFROMAHA will be hosting the Dunia Youth Festival this Sunday afternoon at The RiverFront.

The Dunia Youth Festival is a multicultural event focused on middle school, high school, and early collegiate-aged youth. The afternoon will include fun activities that focus on empowerment and the celebration of diversity in our community.

AFROMAHA is partnering with several local organizations that serve the area’s young people and will offer information, resources, and interactive activities on Sunday! Enjoy live music and performances, as well as food trucks selling selections from around the world.
