Angels Among Us announces young professionals event: Birds & Beer
Angels Among Us is hosting a new fun event called that Birds & Beer Bash at Buildertrend on January 9th that is going to create all sorts of buzz! This Thursday night out will include craft beer tastings from brewers all across the state in partnership with the Nebraska Brewers Guild, local restaurants such as Skyybox and Hilton downtown among others, are preparing unique chicken dishes to taste as well, and fun with your peers and coworkers. Your $35 ticket includes all you can eat and drink from 5:30-8:30 p.m., an event t-shirt and pint glass designed by Soul & Swag, and doing good for Nebraska families battling pediatric cancer.

Angels Among Us is a Nebraska nonprofit that provides financial and emotional support to families whose children are battling pediatric cancer. Any family living-in or being treated in Nebraska is eligible to apply for financial support. So far in 2019, Angels Among Us provided financial support to over 115 families, giving over $420,000. This one is a driving tour and includes stops inside Dowd Memorial Catholic Chapel on Dowd Drive, Heroes Boulevard, and in front of the Village Christmas tree across from the Skip Palrang Field House.
